I’m Back!

I apologize for my nearly two month absence from the blog. In case you were wondering, yes, I am still alive, and no, I haven’t forgotten about you.

Did you miss me? I know I’ve missed pouring out my creative thoughts to you. But at the same time, the break was much needed. I, like any other Creative, gain tremendous energy from taking some time off once in a while. (For more about rest, check out this post.)

What Have I Been Doing, You Ask?

I’ve been nurturing my creative side.

I’ve been painting.

The Birds

I’ve been dreaming up new stories. (I can’t wait to tell you about the idea for my latest novel!)

I’ve been devouring books.

This was a great read!

I’ve been hanging around my writer friends at The Consortium and soaking up all their creative juices. (Check out the post I did on Inspiration by Osmosis.)

And now I’m rejuvenated. I’m ready to get back in the swing of things. Bring on the writing. Bring on the blogging.

Upcoming Stuff

With the excitement of being back and all, I’m going to switch things up a bit. Instead of two posts a week, I’m going to stick to one post, mid-week. I’m a busy lady and I don’t want to wear myself too thin. Plus, you want me focusing most of my energies on writings of a fictional sort. Trust me, you do. 😉
